Generic Tricor can be taken once a day. Take Generic Tricor capsules orally with water at the same time every day, with food.

If you are taking colestipol (such as Colestid) or cholestyramine (such as Questran) while using Generic Tricor you should take these medicines at least 1 hour after using Generic Tricor or 4-6 hours before using Generic Tricor.

Follow low-fat diet, low-cholesterol.

If you want to achieve most effective results do not stop taking Generic Tricor suddenly.

Missing of dose

Do not take double dose. If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule.

Overdose

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) away from moisture and heat. Keep container tightly closed. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.
